ACT Minutes of Meeting
Thursday April 26, 2012

• Called to order at 3:06 pm by Jesse
• Last meeting minutes not available for approval.
• Jesse called for Open Forum. Denise suggested a “rejected” Art Show for those that didn’t make it into Student Show. Discussion.  Hold show same day as Art Hop to borrow advertising, invite Photo Club, art from members only, need not be from current semesters.
• John Muir Elementary Art Project 4/27 from 12:30-1:30 pm in Room #24 with Mrs Crus. Meet in AH102 at 11:30am to get ready. Take clay and clay tools for 25+ kids.
• Club Rush 5/4, paper work is turned in. (also carnival at John Muir)
• Adv West discussed date for FCC Arts Night at Fresno Grizzlies Aug. 28 or 29. All FCC visual and performing arts.
• 5/10 Grizzlies game, provide face painting as individuals. Have club photo board set up as well.
• Starline show was good, could have used more advertising. Thank you to Mollie for all her hard work.
• Jesse discussed that our club account is getting enough in it to rent the bus for a trip. End of year party was also suggested. Ayako and Denise will write a proposal for the $250 from FCC.
• Motion by Veronica, 2nd Danielle to hold a club show during ArtHop 5/3 and invite the FCC Photo Club. Passed. Artwork needs to be to room by 3:30pm, bring munchies to share with attendees.
• Motion to adjourn by Danielle, 2nd by Shoshanna. Adjourned 3:50 pm.

• Called to order at 3:08 pm by Jesse
• Read minutes of 3/29/12. Motion to accept by Denise, 2nd by Shoshanna. Approved
• ICC President, Veronica Farewell presented idea for Leadership award centerpieces. Need 27 about 6″ diameter looking like an open box, royal blue, orange, lime are colors of the event. ICC will pay materials and provide donation of $100-150 for work.
• Jesse covered ICC announcements. Rush hot dogs and tacos did great ($1200?) Entertainment cards discussed w/logo, sell $20 for $10 profit if order 99. Not enough interest.
• Reviewed and voted on Bylaw changes. Motion by Molly to approve Bylaws as changed, 2nd Denise. Passed
• Grizzlies Game – Wanted volunteers to face paint during opening game.
• Art Night tonight with Adv Krauter.
• Starline Art Show submissions extended.
• May 9 is next Club Rush, forms due 4/19.
• Motion to Adjourn by Danielle, 2nd by Ayako. Adjourned 4:30 pm.

• Called to order at 3:03 pm
• Read minutes of 3/22/12. Motion to accept by Ben, 2nd by Molly. Approved
• Discussion of $250 money use. Screens and ink needed but more immediate use such as button maker, paint, canvas boards, supplies for elementary school art.
• Grizzlies Opening Night booth 4/13. Should raise prices, Art night, set up booth, face painting, some sort of crowd pleaser (mascot?). Motion to have a booth at Grizzlies Opening Night by Ben, 2nd Molly, Passed. Illeana will do more paintings.
• Talked about Art Night at Grizzlies, charge $5 admission. (no game)
• Motion to approved the Art Show at Starline flier by Danielle, 2nd by Ben. Passed  Reminder to add the Art Club and FCC logos.
• Veronica will check on available Fridays for Elementary Project
• Motion by Molly, 2nd Shoshana to reimburse Danielle Mayer $83.23 for sodas, ice, snacks, and screen fabric for Club Rush. Passed

• Motion to make a FCC Art Club facebook page by Molly, 2nd Ben. Passed Molly will work on it.

ACT Minutes of Meeting
Thursday Mar. 22, 2012

• Called to order at 3:00 pm
• Read minutes of 3/15/12. Motion to accept. Approved
• Discussed whether we actually need two VPs since Monday VP, Ben, attends both meetings. Continued with vote. Ballots were collected from Monday group in anticipation of election. Denise won.
• Jesse reviewed agenda, then asked for an open forum discussion. Speakers have 3 minutes:
  Molly presented bill from Allards for supplies: $31.06 ink and squeegy, 14.00 dye for shirts = $45.06. Motion to reimburse Molly Gill for $45.06 by Danielle, 2nd Destiny. Passed.  Discussed t-shirts and images. Commented on SF trip, Adv West asked for pictures to place on blog. Possible trip with Sosa in May.
• Club Rush – Scheduled volunteers and set prices to charge. Danielle to get sodas and snacks. Discussed AGS election, and $250 monies uses such as tools for club, button machine, screens. Art night tonight to work on items to sell. Next week Art Night Tuesday with Adv Krauter, Wednesday with Adv West.
• Jesse went over ICC information and use of Club Rush vouchers.
• Discussed Art project at Muir Elementary. Possibly do it on two consecutive Fridays, make slabs for tiles and return to paint. We would provide all materials for the class, maybe out of $250.
• Grizzlies meeting 3/23 about a booth during games to sell artworks, of full-on art fundraiser stand-alone from a game. Bring in whole art department including photo, music, drama, etc. Charge admission and have demos.
• Will have a meeting after Club Rush.
