3:05 Meeting called to order by President Jeff

– Get word out about Mask Making Demo (Friday, Oct 25)

  • flyer hand out tomorrow

– More masks need to be made before Friday as examples

– Cut out clay decorations need to be made for Fall Carnival ASAP!

3:10 Amanda calls for a motion for the club to spend $20 on decoration supplies for
mask making project/ Lenea 2nds. Approved.

– Swarnsons Nov. 7th Art Hop

  • Bracelets, signs to promote club need to be brought (no artwork)
  • will continue conversation about this next week

– More t-shirt designs need to be made (Jeff has some ideas he’s working on)

– Also, Larry’s Demo last week was a success!

3:00 Meeting called to order by VP Denise Gorham

– Larry’s Potluck Workshop Thursday @ 6PM T-401

  • Amanda will bring up in ICC Meeting
  • Students of Laura get extra credit
  • Donation $5 or 10 cans

– Laura suggest on Oct 25, 5pm (Late Afternoon), Mask making workshop for students.

  • $5 Donation or 10 cans
  • $5 to keep mask possibly
  • Members will make masks next meeting, decorate after dried before Oct 25th

3:11 Elisia calls for a motion to have a mask workshop, Oct 25th 2013 @ 5pm/2nd by Lenea. Approved.

– Lenea will make flyer for mask workshop

– Fall Carnival clay pieces need to made and fired

  • Monday, Oct 21st we will meet at 6PM to do clay cutouts

– Elisia brings up how shirts should be lowered in price

  • We have 1 Small, NO Medium, L, XL & XXL
  • lowered to $7 possibly
  • More smalls need to be made next time
  • New shirt designs need to be made (nothing offensive)

– Denise still hasn’t received an answer from Studio 74

– The club received $23 in donations at Club Rush ($12 for scholarships ,$11 for Ronald McDonald House.

3:05 Meeting called to order

– Club Rush TOMORROW, Wednesday the 9th from 9AM-2PM (breakdown at 1PM)

– The following people will be helping:
-Jeff (Setup)
-Lisa (9AM-1PM)
-Anyettah (10-11AM)
-Denise (12-1PM)
-Amanda (12-1PM)

– Denise will bring toy chest for Club Rush

– Denise spoke to Swarnsons and they said they have a table available for us for November ArtHop.

– Anyettah brings up that we should put money towards printing club information/hand outs for Club Rush and other club activities.

3:12 Motion to approve $15 towards club printing budget for flyers and other club activities by Anyettah/ 2nd by Denise. Approved.

– Club to have booth at Ratcliffe Field for Halloween (5:30 – 8:00PM)

– 3 people can work booth
-Denise
-Lisa
-Lenea

– Anyettah brings up the club making gifts to sell (jewlery, ornaments, boxes etc.)

– We could possibly use art space gallery, Anyettah will talk to Ed and update us.

– Denise says we could possibly get Valentino’s for December Arthop

3:06 Meeting called to order by President Jeff Willis

– Larry’s lecture time to be set on Thursday 17th of October @ 6PM

3:12 Call to vote by Laura/ 2nd by Lenea. Approved.

– Nabor donated $300 to the scholarship

– Criterion for scholarship needs to be figured out

– Fresno Idea Works

  • display/table available for club this Thursday
  • People agreeing to go:
    Tiny
    Nabor
    Jeff
    Lenea (*if she can find a ride)
    Anyettah
  • Jeff will take inventory of artwork (and pictures if needed by artist)
  • Anyettah said she would bring two table top easels
  • 3 pieces at most by each person
  • Should be dropped off in back of sculpture lab by 4:30
  • Transportation by Tiny

– Denise will look into Swarnsons on this coming up art hop (Pete from Valentino’s already said yes)

– Art Night will be planned next meeting.

– Treasurer Report by Anyettah

  • We have $691.39 in account

– Comic book lecture > Laura will look into it for us
