Hi folks,
I am trying to figure out the best meeting times for the club this Spring. I teach during the normal meeting time this year, you may be able to keep the same time and meet in the yard – you just won’t have the benefit of my counsel. Times I am considering and available are 11 am Thursday, 6pm Tuesday and 2:30 or 3pm Monday. Larry is available at 3:00 Monday and our usual time of 3 on Thursday. Monday at 3 would probably work best for both Larry and I. Can you email me and let me know if you are interested in continuing with the club and what times work for you. You are also welcome to suggest other times. I teach M/W 8-2:30 and T/Th noon-6.
I would like to meet next week and conduct elections or the following at the latest.
I am also forwarding club rush and ICC stuff. We also need someone to volunteer to go to the ICC meeting next week (please). It is at noon on Thursday.
On the Wed. 1/22 they are conducting campus tours. Anyone who can, please volunteer to help with these – we still owe some hours for missing a club rush. Make sure you let them know you are doing the service as a representative of ACT. The first ICC meeting is Thursday 1/23 at noon. We need someone to attend this meeting. If we want to participate in the first club rush to help acquire new members, paperwork will need to be submitted at this meeting. The first club rush is on Wed. 1/29. It would be good to participate in this.
Last semester we participated in several exhibitions, helped with the Halloween carnival and raised $300 for the scholarship fund. We will have more opportunities to exhibit and we’re discussing the possibility of conducting an art trip to SF.
