ACT Minutes of Meeting
Thursday August 23, 2012

• Called to order at 3:09 pm by president nominee Caleb Seewald
• Discuss upcoming Art Night at the Grizzlies August 28th. Have ticket money back to Adv West by 11am Monday. Make a label for artwork (name, title, value$ or NFS). We will do facepainting.
• Art Student Orientation – Aug 29, 11:30am-12:00 AH202 – Information on degrees, transfers, scholarships, etc.
• Club Rush also Aug 29th, booth for info and membership drive.
• Motion to move elections to next week (Aug 30) by Jesse, 2nd Kasaundra. Passed.
• Motion to adjourn by Aaron, 2nd by Jesse. Adjourned 3:54 pm.

ACT Minutes of Meeting
Thursday August 16, 2012

• Called to order at 3:04 pm by Interim President Jesse Spangler
• Discuss upcoming Art Night at the Grizzlies August 28th. Need at least 20 art pieces to show. Have at school by 3pm as we will packing truck and take to Grizzlies when done. Due at Grizzlies 3:30pm, stay until after 9 pm. Art for sale: If made at home (20% donation to club) if made during club (full value donation). Facepainting if enough volunteers show up. Discuss what to sell next meeting.
• Took nominations for officers: Pres-Caleb, VP-Kasaundra, Tres-Jesse, Recording Sec-Danielle, Corresponding Sec-Amber, ICC Reps-Steve, Aaron. Need to have club info in by noon 8/23, although club election will be at 3pm.
• Need to push membership in classes and around campus; need not be in art classes to join.
• Motion to adjourn by Ben, 2nd by Amber. Adjourned 3:49 pm.

ACT Minutes of Meeting
Thursday May 10, 2012

• Called to order at 3:07 pm by Jesse
• Motion by Ben/ 2nd Veronica to approve minutes from 5/3/12. Approved
• Adv West discussed Grizzlies events. Possibly we will volunteer for facepainting during the summer. For the FCC Arts event at the Grizzlies we can sell tickets and get a percentage of sales. All agreed that we should do the event, and it should be only art related clubs. Invited clubs must help organize event and participate that night to qualify for any monies raised. Publicity on Facebook and radio. Grizzlies will also announce any upcoming events for us.
• Discussed doing a school event for the kindergarteners since the 4^th grade program was cancelled.
• Talked about year-end trip or party again, agreed to have next meeting at a bowling party on May 21 at 3pm. Location TBA after we get all prices. We will further discuss a trip, kindergarten art project, and Grizzlies’ events at the bowling meeting/party.
• Shoshanna suggested having a lecture on Business for Artists next semester.
• Motion to adjourn by Danielle, 2nd by Shoshanna. Adjourned 3:47 pm.
