A.C.T. Meeting of Minutes for February 21st 2013

3:15 Meeting Called to order by ICC Rep Alyse

-Discussed TOT holding a Sadie Hawkins
-Discussed Mr. Wards Workshop/Potluck
-Discussed Elf Head Project
-Discussed Our First Art Night

3:40 Motion to approve the club buying plaster bandages ($50 for two boxes) for the Clifford Ward Workshop ~Life Cast Mask~ by Alee/ 2nd by Rachel. Approved

3:45 Posters for the Workshop/Potluck will be drafted up by Co-President Claire and emailed to everyone for approval. Laura will make copies these posters for the club and Rachel, Ileana, Alyse and Claire to post them around school and other Art related places.

3:55 Art Night for the club’s first Art Hop showing this year will be on February 25th from 5:30-10pm. Larry will be our Advisor while we get ready for Art Hop. All members who want their work displayed in to bring it in this night.

Hello all,
Showcase is upon us!

This is one of our best chances to bring in money to fund a trip/fund our community projects.  This Thursday from 9 am – 2pm we will have a booth selling tacos and potentially selling artwork/t-shirts etc.  we may also have a drawing contest.

WE WILL NEED AT LEAST 4  PEOPLE MANNING THE BOOTH AT ALL TIMES! WE NEED HELP!  ANYONE WHO CAN PLEASE PLAN TO HELP OUT!

We will have a meeting tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11 am in the sculpture lab. Please attend if you can. If you cannot, please let us know when you can volunteer in Thursday.

If you cannot help on the day of the event, if you can help with the prep that would be great.

Please contact Denise or Ms. West to volunteer your time.

A.C.T. Meeting of Minutes for February 14th 2013

3:02 Meeting Called to Order by Co-President Claire Mazzeo

Elf Head has $300 budget, should leave us about 250 in profit (approved)

Rachel is head of Elf Committee also participating is Alyse, Lance, Elisia, Ileana and Amber

Yosemite trip is on April 13th waiting on full information from Larry before voting. Should know by February 28th.

Ronald McDonald art supply drive is going to be in the end of March/beginning of April (Need to Print out 50 flyers)
Denise is in charge, she’ll have more information for us by next week.

Every other week, there will be meetings on Tuesday at 1, in Laura’s room.

Leaf Prints at Grace’s School. Should be on a Friday Amber is in charge of setting up a date and time.
Claire, Denni, and Bree will help out with this along with one Advisor.

Babylon is charging $60 per artist for exhibitions? Denise will be getting more info.

Valentino’s wants us for Art Hop on March 7th (approved)

Art Night next Wednesday from 6 to 10:30 p.m.
